  What an incredible find! On the way to exploring nearby Moore State Park we stopped in Rutland for a quick lunch. Instead we found the highlight of the day. Atop a small hill in the center of beautiful Massachusetts countryside is this small farm with a real country kitchen. As soon as you walk in the door you get the feeling that you are in a friend's kitchen. Pine tables and a sitting bar filled with folks who you can tell are frequent visitors. It's lunchtime and the tables and bar accommodate local businessmen, carpenters, and tree workers from nearby communities. Obviously the local crowd having lunch.
  The food was the best part. Homemade mac & cheese topped with pulled pork, the best Buffalo chicken tenders that I have ever had, with a blue cheese dipping sauce that was the perfect foil to the spicy hot sauce. I went with a couple of friends and we each had raves about our individual meals.
    Our waitress was friendly, with lots of funny comments that made us all feel more than welcome. Prices were more than reasonable for the entire experience.
      There were tables set up outside where you could enjoy the beautiful summer day while watching the goats and chickens in a nearby pen. What an idyllic setting for a lunchtime treat.
  We will definitely be going back whenever we find ourselves in the area.

  Went here for ice cream and ended up with a grilled Rueben...and then ice cream!  Super friendly staff!  The food is made to order and you can tell everything is super fresh!  The Rueben was AMAZING!  Best I have ever had!  Definitely stop by and try something out.  The ice cream is pretty good too!   They also have some animals to check out so bring the kiddos!!

  This place has got to be one of the best Yelp! finds in history.  We were on our way to the Worcester airport from NH and knowing there are not many places to eat at the airport we used or map feature on Yelp to find a stop along the way.  
  
  WOW are we glad we stumbled across the Schultz property.  It is simply AWESOME.  It's a working farm with a country store and cafe run by a husband and wife.  The food is all made in house and is absolutely incredible.  This is really comfort food at it's finest and best of all it is so reasonably priced.  The cafe/store itself is very rustic and really suits this place.  
  
  We met the owner/chef Sam and she was incredibly friendly and accommodating.  She mentioned that her husband is the one that smokes the meats on the weekends.  The food here is soooo good.  I started with the mac n cheese and all I can say is WOW.   It is simply some of the best I have ever had, so creamy and tasty.  My wife had the caprese salad and the tomatoes and basil are from the farm.  The tomatoes were bursting with flavor, everything was incredibly fresh.  I had the hot pastrami sandwich with another side of mac and it was a nice generous portion of meat on local bread.  Sam said they marinate the meat for 14 hours before smoking it  OMFG Sooo good!  
  
  They also have homemade ice cream here but we were absolutely stuffed.  Sam came over and brought the kids back to the kitchen to show them how they make the hand cut fries.  
  
  Overall this place was an awesome experience.  The kids enjoyed playing on the swingset and checking out the animals on the farm.  The food here is simply amazing and you can really taste the love and effort Sam and her husband put into it.  I highly recommend stopping here as it really is a great place.

  Have just discovered this hidden gem! Fresh everything. Great staff. Reasonable prices and a great place to bring the kids and visit animals on the farm!!!!

  We came after church on a Sunday and with maybe 20-25 seats timing is everything. Reserving the fifth star after we come here for lunch. Everyone is genuinely friendly. This is a real working farm. The conversation at the counter focused on weather, crops and cattle. Suggestion: promote your eggs, homemade hash, etc. You are too modest and this information is what sells. We bought fresh milk and asparagus as well as enjoyed the breakfast.
